Techsploration Presentation at Deer Hill

What is weather? What is air pressure and how does it affect weather? How is
lightning formed? On Friday, May 13th, the students of Deer Hill learned the answers! Tom Wahle of Techsploration used hands-on experiments to demonstrate basic science principles that effect our weather. This PSO funded school-wide curriculum enrichment program was a fun way to get students to look at weather in a whole new way. After the assembly, the 5th Graders also got to enjoy “Forces and Motion” workshops in the STEM lab.
